New Phase of FakeDetective Project Kicks Off: Youth Stories Turned into Animated Films

A new stage of the FakeDetective project has officially begun. Work is now underway on three animated short films that will explore the themes of misinformation and fake news.

The scripts are based on real stories submitted by young people, who shared how and where they encountered disinformation in their daily lives — online, in social media, or even in personal conversations. In addition to these powerful personal accounts, expert advice was used to shape each story into an educational and engaging narrative.

The upcoming animations aim to raise awareness and equip viewers with tools to critically assess information in today’s complex media landscape.
