New Submission from Estonia: Svyatoslav’s Animated Short
We are pleased to share an animated film created by Svyatoslav Lavrov from Estonia, a participant in the Fake Detective project. The idea for the film was inspired by how easy it is to encounter photo fakes online. In the story, a girl receives a photo showing children riding an elephant on a playground. She invites her friend to join her, but when they arrive, no one is there. The boy realizes that the photo was fake. Through this story, Svyatoslav highlights the issue of fake images, which are a common problem on the internet. Having seen many such examples himself, he decided to explore this topic through animation. For the production, he followed the animation guidelines available on the Fake Detective website, where he also sourced the music and graphics.
